Competing Business definition

Competing Business means any person or entity that competes with the Company Group in the sale, marketing, production, distribution, research or development of Competing Products in the same markets.
Competing Business means any business that, in whole or in part, is the same or substantially the same as the Business.
Competing Business means any business or enterprise which is engaged in (a) the equipment leasing business; or (b) any business, business segment or product line engaged in by the Company on the date of termination of the Employee's employment with the Company (clauses (a) and (b) collectively referred to herein as the "Company's Business").

  • Become employed by, advise, perform services for, establish, have any ownership interest in, invest in or otherwise engage in any capacity, whether directly or indirectly, with a Competing Business in the Restricted Area.

  • For a period of one (1) year after the Separation Date, you shall not, directly or indirectly, whether as owner, partner, shareholder, consultant, agent, employee, co-venturer or otherwise, engage, participate, assist or invest in any Competing Business (as defined below).

  • During employment and the Restricted Period, Executive will not, within the Territory, engage in a Competing Business, provide services to a Competing Business similar to those that Executive provided to the Company, become an officer or director of a Competing Business, or otherwise directly or indirectly, own, manage, operate, join, control, finance or participate in the ownership, management, operation, control, or financing of a Competing Business.


More Definitions of Competing Business

Competing Business means any entity (other than the Employer and its Affiliates) that is conducting business that is the same or substantially the same as the Business of the Employer.
Competing Business shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.1 hereof.

Competing Business means any person or entity that provides services or products that would compete with or displace any services or products sold or being developed for sale by the Company during Executive’s employment, or engages in any other activities so similar in nature or purpose to those of the Company that they would displace business opportunities or customers of the Company, including, without limitation, Best Buy Co., Inc., Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Xxxxxx.xxx, Inc. and Target Corporation and any of their respective subsidiaries.
Competing Business means any business which provides, designs, develops, markets, engages in, invests in, produces or sells any products, services, or businesses which are the same or similar to the Company Business or those provided, designed, developed, marketed, engaged in, invested in, produced or sold by the Company;
