Application for Payment means Contractor’s monthly partial invoice for payment that includes any portion of the Work that has been completed for which an invoice has not been submitted and performed in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The Application for Payment accurately reflects the progress of the Work, is itemized based on the Schedule of Values, bears the notarized signature of Contractor, and shall not include subcontracted items for which Contractor does not intend to pay.

Application for Payment means a written request submitted by Contractor to A/E for payment of Work completed in accordance with the Contract Documents and approved Schedule of Values, supported by such substantiating data as Owner or A/E may require.

Application for Payment means the Trade Contractor’s monthly requisition for payment, if any, which shall be submitted on the form provided by the Authority.

Examples of Application for Payment in a sentence

If the Department expressly agrees to pay for materials stored at the site but not yet incorporated into the Work, the Application for Payment may also include a request for payment of the cost of such materials, if the materials have been delivered to the site, and suitably stored.
The Department shall make Final Payment not more than thirty (30) days after the Department verifies the amount of the final payment set forth in a complete final Application for Payment.

More Definitions of Application for Payment

Application for Payment means a written request submitted by Contractor to Owner or, if applicable, A/E for payment of Work completed in accordance with the Contract Documents and approved Schedule of Values, supported by such substantiating data as Owner or, if applicable, A/E may require.

Application for Payment means Contractor’s certified request for Owner’s payment in the form required by the Contract Documents.
