STUDENT. For the purpose of this Collective Agreement, the term Student shall mean a person who, except for summer vacation period or work study period, would normally be attending full time at High School, Vocational School, or University and taking subjects relating to the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trade. The intention of this clause is to enable the Employer to give practical experience during summer months to a person whose declared intention is to seek employment in the Trade upon graduation from school, and is not intended as a source of casual labour.

Printed Name: Student’s Name: Signature: Date: LAPTOP REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT ESTIMATIONS The Wakulla County School District fully understands that things like accidental damage, loss, and theft of laptops are likely to occur. As such, we are willing to work with our students and parents to the best of our ability when these types of events occur. However, in order to establish a baseline of accountability, an estimation of possible fees is outlined below. Please keep in mind that it is impossible to outline every possible scenario, and every case may be different. • If your laptop is unintentionally damaged (i.e. accidentally dropped, or a drink spilled on it, etc.), please notify School Administration as soon as possible. If it is outside school hours, please notify School Administration the next school day. After the initial report we will assess the damage, and determine the possibility of successful repair. Depending on the circumstance, you may be charged UP TO $100.00 for the cost of the repair. o If it is determined that the damage was intentional, you may be charged for a FULL LAPTOP REPLACEMENT (see below) • If your laptop is stolen, please notify School Administration as soon as possible. If it is outside school hours, please notify School Administration the next school day. o If you also file a police report about the theft, we will work with you the best we can about replacement cost, but at a discounted price. o If you do not file a police report about the theft, you may be charged for a FULL LAPTOP REPLACEMENT (see below) • If you lose your laptop, please notify School Administration as soon as possible. If it is outside school hours, please notify School Administration the next school day. STUDENT. Unless otherwise specified, “student” shall mean any person enrolled as a student at a University and shall include any “cadet,” so called, at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy; and for the purposes of Article VII of this Agreement, a “full-time student” shall mean any student who, at the time of his/her selection to act in a representative capacity pursuant to the provisions of the said Article, is enrolled at a University in courses valued at not fewer than twelve (12) semester hours of credit per semester.

STUDENT. Any employee currently enrolled in or intending at the end of the term of employment to enrol or re-enrol in either a secondary or post-secondary institute. Students shall only be entitled to vacation pay in accordance with the Collective Agreement. No seniority rights shall be recognized.
