Scholarship Grants. Scholarship grants will be provided for tuition expenses and certification- examination fees for unit members enrolled in programs, which result in credentials or certificates in special education, English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL), bilingual education, mathematics, and science. The maximum grant per fiscal year for tuition expenses will be equivalent to that of San Xxxx State University, but will not exceed $1,500 per year. Certification-examination fees will be paid upon proof of certification.

  • Scholarship 3.1 Faculty members are entitled and expected to actively engage in scholarship on an ongoing basis, to show scholarly integrity therein, and to disseminate the results of their scholarship or exhibit the results of their creative work.

  • Pueblo scholarship This articulation transfer agreement replaces all previous agreements between ACC and CSU-Pueblo in Bachelor of Social Work. This agreement will be reviewed annually and revised (if necessary) as mutually agreed.

  • Employee Assistance Programs Consistent with the University's Employee Assistance Program, employees participating in an employee assistance program who receive a notice of layoff may continue to participate in that program for a period of ninety (90) days following the layoff.

The intent of this section is to assist an employee's voluntary efforts to treat alcoholism, nicotine use, or a drug-related or a stress-related problem.

  • TREATMENT OF FRINGE BENEFITS The fringe benefits are charged using the rate(s) listed in the Fringe Benefits Section of this Agreement. The fringe benefits included in the rate(s) are listed below. TREATMENT OF PAID ABSENCES Vacation, holiday, sick leave pay and other paid absences are included in salaries and wages and are claimed on grants, contracts and other agreements as part of the normal cost for salaries and wages. Separate claims are not made for the cost of these paid absences.
