PHYSICAL STANDARDS. Section 1
PHYSICAL STANDARDS. A. Physical and/or psychological examinations may be requested by the City, for an employee, at any time after the date of hire, in the discretion of the Chief of Police and subject to the approval of the City Manager. The examination shall be paid for by the City and it shall be at the City's discretion as to what the examination will include.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS. The physical standards required of a Flight Attendant shall be no less than the standards established by the FAA. A Flight Attendant shall maintain the ability to perform all required duties.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS. All sworn members are encouraged to maintain a level of physical fitness appropriate to the demands of police work. No smoking will be permitted by any employee while on duty, except during permitted breaks and in duly designated areas.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS. (1) A candidate shall meet the physical requirements prescribed by the Department of the Navy for appointment as Midshipman, USNR (including the Merchant Marine Reserve, USNR) and the requirements prescribed by the U.S. Coast Guard for original licensing as a third mate and third assistant engineer. All candidates shall have color perception and refrac- tive error within the limits prescribed by the Department of the Navy or by the U.S. Coast Guard, whichever are higher.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS. The Employer will use its best efforts to see that employees shall continue to enjoy those physical perquisites currently provided. However, future programmatic and operational changes may cause an employee to work in a different physical accommodation than currently provided. If Employees are required to move to work accommodations which may reasonably be considered to be less convenient, less spacious or less well-appointed, they will receive prior notice. There will be a meeting with the employee(s) to discuss the reasons and requirements for the move.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS. To provide for a more physically fit workforce, the City desires to implement physical fitness standards within one year of the signing of this agreement. To accomplish this goal, the parties agree to immediately open negotiations limited to the establishment of such physical standards, such that the terms and conditions of employment related to such standards can be agreed upon prior to their implementation. The parties further agree that if they are unable to reach an agreement regarding the physical standards and/or the terms and conditions of employment related to physical standards, in the timeframe described above, neither party has the right to mediation or arbitration on this issue.
