Flight Attendant definition

Flight Attendant means an individual who is responsible for performing or assisting in the performance of all cabin passenger service, cabin safety, cabin preparation duties and/or duties related thereto in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, and whose name appears on the Flight Attendant Seniority List.

Flight Attendant as used in this Agreement shall include both male and female employees who are responsible for the performing or assisting in the performance of all en route passenger service and who have completed training as prescribed by the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) and whose names appear on the current Flight Attendant System Seniority List.

Flight Attendant means an employee qualified under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and Company policies whose name appears on the Company Flight Attendant System Seniority List and whose duties include cabin safety and the performance of inflight service(s).

• Should a Flight Attendant professional standards problem come to the attention of the Company (i.e., a conflict between Flight Attendants or a conflict between a Flight Attendant and a member of another employee group which affects their professional interaction and/or conduct of a Flight Attendant that reflects unfavorably upon the profession) the Company may, at its sole discretion, refer the employees to the Union Professional Standards Committee (UPSC).

• A Flight Attendant shall not be scheduled to exceed fourteen (14) hours per duty period.

• A Flight Attendant shall receive a minimum of three and one-half hours (3:30) of pay and credit for each duty period, except in the case of CDOs. A Flight Attendant on a CDO shall receive a minimum of four hours and thirty minutes (4:30) of pay and credit for each duty period.

Flight Attendant. (CARs) means a crew member, other than a flight crew member, who has been assigned duties to be performed in the interest of the passengers in a passenger-carrying aircraft.

Flight Attendant means an employee holding a regular, relief or reserve line whose primary responsibility includes performing, or assisting in the performance of all cabin services, attending to passenger safety and comfort, and for preparation and completion of reports as required by the Company and the law, who has completed training as prescribed by the Company and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and who is qualified and/or certified as a Flight Attendant.

As a safety professional, these duties include responsibility for applying these services for the welfare, comfort, and safety of passengers. The flight attendant will assist passengers with the completion of custom and immigration forms when necessary. Whenever the term flight attendant is used, it will include the male and female gender.

Flight Attendant means an employee of Hawaiian Airlines, Inc., whose duties consist of performing all enroute and ground cabin service on board the aircraft to Hawaiian Airlines' passengers, and includes the responsibility for the welfare and safety of passengers in accordance with Company standards and as required by law.

Flight Attendant means an employee of Piedmont Airlines, whose name appears on the Flight Attendant system seniority list, and whose duties include ensuring the safety of passengers, and the performance of enroute cabin service.

Flight Attendant as used in this Agreement shall include both male and female employees who are responsible for performing or assisting the performance of all enroute cabin services, attending to passenger safety and comfort, and responsibility of the preparation and completion of reports as required by the Company and the law, who have completed training as prescribed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and whose names appear on the current Flight Attendant System Seniority List. A Flight Attendant may be assigned the responsibility for enplaning and deplaning passengers provided that such assignment shall not be injurious to the Flight Attendant’s health.

Flight Attendant means a member of a bargaining unit represented for collective bargaining purposes by the APFA.
