Online Course. A course that uses web-based tools and where one hundred percent (100%) of the instruction and interaction between instructor and student is done online. (Proctored exams still allow for this classification unless it is required that the exam be taken on campus.)

Online Course. A course delivered entirely through technological means and lacking any regular or significant face-to-face instructional component. For purposes of this definition, “hybrid,” “blended,” or mixed modality courses are not considered to be “online.”
Online Course. A course where all learning activities are done online. Online classes can be conducted asynchronously, synchronously, or a combination of both. These courses have set due dates for assignments in most cases (Mayadas & Xxxxxx, 2014).
Online Course approval Approval of an online course shall comply with the practices, procedures and criteria which have been established at the University for the creation by departments/units/schools and faculties of in classroom courses.
Online Course. A course primarily delivered online. The first time a unit member teaches a particular course online, the maximum class size for the online course will be 75% of the standard maximum class size established for the course. However, the maximum will not fall below 28 for any course unless the standard maximum is under 28, then the standard maximum will be used. This provision excludes courses involving on-site labs.
Online Course. A course delivered by virtual instruction. An online course may require a maximum of three (3) campus visits.

  • Alcoholic Beverages Costs of alcoholic beverages are unallowable.

  • Food and Beverages No food or beverage may be brought onto the Ship without City Cruises’ prior authorization, granted in City Cruises’ sole discretion. No food or beverage may be removed from the Ship.

  • Mentor Program a. Each new Bargaining Unit Member (first year employee) shall be assigned a mentor. An exception may be made, as determined by the Superintendent, for new part-time Bargaining unit Members of whom have prior service in the same program operated by the Board. The mentor shall assist the new Bargaining Unit Member in general teaching procedures, techniques, classroom planning and organization, school functions and regulations and other areas of professional growth and development. The Association President in collaboration with the Lead Mentor/Resident Educator Coordinator and appropriate Directors shall submit nominations of three (3) qualified staff members to the Superintendent, after obtaining the candidates’ permission. The Superintendent may elect to nominate one of the candidates to the Board of Education for assignment, or ask the Association President and Lead Mentor/Resident Educator Coordinator for additional nominations.
