Lottery. The lottery shall be conducted as set forth in the Application, and shall be designed in such a manner that it gives a parent or any other legal guardian a reasonable opportunity to participate in the lottery. If the number of applicants for admission exceeds the capacity stated in the Charter for any grade, building, or program, the Organizer must conduct a random lottery for enrollment, giving each timely applicant an equal chance of admission, with the following exceptions:
Lottery. Unless otherwise exempted in the Public School Code, if more students apply than can be admitted based on the School’s enrollment cap, admission decisions will be made by a lottery processxlii. The School shall adopt in advance the enrollment procedure for vacancies that occur during the school year that complies with applicable law.

The School may give preference in admission to students or limit the enrollment as provided for in section 1002.33(10), Florida Statutes. The School shall clearly indicate in its Policies and Procedures the lottery procedures, and any/all enrollment preferences the school will utilize.
Lottery. In the event Financial Assets held in the Custody Account at a Securities Depository are called for partial redemption by the issuer, the Custodian will, in its reasonable discretion, allocate the called portion to the respective holders in a manner which is fair, equitable, and in accordance with its established procedures.
Lottery. The School agrees to implement a lottery system if the number of applicants exceeds the stated capacity of the school, class, grade level, or building to ensure that all applicants have an equal opportunity of being admitted to the School through a random selection process that complies with Florida law and conditions relating to maintenance of appropriate student population that reflects the diversity of the community in which the School is located.
Lottery. The station shall not advertise or broadcast any information concerning any lottery (except the Florida State Lottery and any other state lottery). The station may advertise and provide information about lotteries conducted by non-profit groups, governmental entities and in certain situations, by commercial organizations, if and only if there is no state or local restriction or ban on such advertising or information and the lottery is legal under state or local law. Any and all lottery advertising must first be approved by station management. Advertising Station shall comply with all federal, state and local laws concerning advertising, including without limitation, all laws concerning misleading advertising, and the advertising of alcoholic beverages. Programming Prohibitions. Knowing broadcast of the following types of programs and announcements is prohibited: False Claims. False or unwarranted claims for any product or service. Unfair Imitation. Infringements of another advertiser's rights through plagiarism or unfair imitation of either program idea or copy, or any other unfair competition. Commercial Disparagement. Any unfair disparagement of competitors or competitive goods.
Lottery. In the event two or more employees have the same seniority ranking after the application of 1, 2, and 3, above, all employees so affected shall participate in a drawing, by lot, to determine ranking on the seniority list. The Association and all employees so affected shall be notified in writing, of the date, place, and time of the drawing. The drawing shall be conducted openly and at a time and place which will allow affected employees and the Association to be in attendance. This step shall be deemed final and binding.
Lottery. The Charter School shall be open to students of school age deemed residing within the Loudoun County School Division as determined by Section 22.1-3 of the Code of Virginia and shall be through a lottery process on a space-available, grade level basis if applications exceed capacity at each grade level. The lottery and waiting list (described below) shall be the responsibility of the Charter School’s management committee to conduct, administer and successfully complete. In accordance with Section 22.1-212.6 of the Code of Virginia, a waiting list shall be established if space will not available to accommodate all of the students of parents who have requested to be entered into the lottery process. The waiting list shall be prioritized and parents shall be informed of their student’s position on the list. If more students apply than can be admitted, admission decisions will be made by a lottery process held each spring for the following school year.
