Health Promotion. Effective January 1, 2014, the Employer shall provide a voluntary employee incentive program that offers taxable cash payments not to exceed $300 per employee per calendar year to employees who participate in health promotion activities and programs offered by the Employer. The Employer shall establish the specifics of the programs through the Health Benefit Committee. This provision shall expire on June 30, 2015 unless mutually agreed otherwise by the parties. All approved vendors contracted with the health plan administrator shall be permitted to provide services on state premises for employees.
Health Promotion. The Employer shall consult with the Association regarding the design and implementation of the program. Nothing herein shall obligate the Employer to any specific level of cash payments. This provision shall take effect on July 1, 2010 and expire on June 30, 2011 unless mutually agreed otherwise by the parties.
Health Promotion. Any activity undertaken for the purpose of achieving a higher level of health and well-being (Xxxxxx & Xxxxxx, 2012).
Health Promotion. The Union recognizes that the provision of a safe work environment and encouragement of a healthful workforce is the right and obligation of the MOA. The Union agrees to cooperate with the MOA in the exercise of this right and fulfillment of this obligation so long as no right guaranteed under this Agreement is violated and with the recognition that participation of its members in any health promotion programs made available by the MOA shall be on a voluntary basis.
Health Promotion. The Association recognizes that the provision of the safe work environment and promotion of a healthful workforce is the right and obligation of the Municipality. The Association agrees to cooperate with the Municipality in its exercise of the obligation so long as no right guaranteed under this Agreement is violated and with the recognition that participation of its members in any or all health promotion programs made available by the Municipality shall solely be on a voluntary basis on the part of the member(s).
Health Promotion. The District shall make available to current employees programs in health promotion and preventive health services.
Health Promotion. The Council and the District agree that the health and well being of employees is of utmost importance. We also agree that we will work collaboratively to develop health promotion activities that assist employees in making informed decisions about their health care and life style changes. The District will continue to maintain a Health Promotion Committee comprised of representatives of the Council and from each school and work site in the District. The Committee will be charged with developing health promotion activities, classes, and programs. The District will establish a voluntary program to encourage employee participation in health promotion activities. Site representatives will be paid the professional development rate for their participation on this committee.

Health Promotion. In accordance with the Health Care Act 2008, health services should be provided as part of an integrated system that includes all aspects of health promotion and disease, illness and injury prevention to maximise community health and wellbeing. Where possible, the LHN will support and encourage responsibility at a community and individual level to ensure that people can make informed decisions about their health. The LHN is encouraged to support promotion and development of healthy communities and individuals through a range of initiatives. For example, risk factor prevention, lifestyle modification and early intervention targeting nutrition, physical activity, alcohol consumption and tobacco use, overweight and obesity and falls prevention.
Health Promotion. The Hospital shall provide Hepatitis B vaccines for all full-time and regular part-time employees working directly with patients.
