Faculty Member an employee of the College employed as an instructor; counsellor; librarian; or co-operative education officer in programs and courses conducted by Langara College, including those designated as Department Chair; Assistant Department Chair; Coordinator; Artistic Director, Theatre Arts Program; Associate Director, Theatre Arts Program; Chair of Counselling and Division Chair. In this Agreement the term “faculty members” shall not apply to preceptors.
Faculty Member. The term member includes all Limited Term Faculty, all Tenured and pre-tenured Faculty (including those on a re-employment program, reduced workload and/or lay-off status); and including those who are, or have been appointed to supervisory, administrative, and/or developmental positions such as Chair, Director, Associate Xxxx, Xxxx, Vice-Xxxxxxx, Faculty Affairs and Xxxxxxx and Vice-President, Academic.
Faculty Member. Any person employed by the College as an instructor, counselor, librarian, program or department chair, or in any other position for which the training, experience, or responsibilities are comparable as determined by the appointing authority.
Faculty Member. The duties of a Faculty Member include teaching, counseling, the regular duties of a librarian, or laboratory demonstrating, and may also include other non-teaching assignments such as administering departments, coordinating programs, program development, committee assignments, administrative assignments, community service assignments, and other special assignments.

In this Agreement the term “faculty members” shall not apply to preceptors.
Faculty Member. For purposes of this Agreement, a member of the bargaining unit, as defined in Article 2.2 of this Agreement.
Faculty Member any member of the Union or bargaining unit.
Faculty Member. Faculty member is a full-time employee of the District (hired by the Board) regularly engaged in teaching, but excluding supervisors, administrators, and clerical employees. No person employed by the Board shall be considered as being "regularly engaged in teaching" whose salary is derived from a private, state or federal grant or contract.
Faculty Member. A faculty member may purchase up to five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) additional life insurance, in increments established by the Employer, subject to satisfactory evidence of insurability. A new faculty member may purchase up to two (2) times annual salary in optional employee life coverage by their initial effective date of coverage as defined in this article, Section E, Subd. 3 without evidence of insurability. An employee who becomes eligible for insurance may purchase up to two (2) times annual salary in optional employee life coverage without evidence of insurability within thirty (30) days of the initial effective date as defined in this article.
Faculty Member. (1) The term "faculty member," as used herein, is construed to imply that the faculty member has a direct relationship with the student in a professional situation, and hence is specifically defined as anyone employed full-time by the College as an assigned instructor, coordinator, librarian or counselor.
