Electronic Waste. “Electronic Waste” means “Covered Electronic Waste” as defined in Section 42463 of the Public Resources Code and other discarded electronic equipment commonly known as “brown goods” such as, but not limited to, CD players and recorders, DVD players and recorders, stereos, computers, printers, keyboards, and peripherals. Revenues from the recycling of Electronic Waste shall be accounted for separately from revenues from other Recyclable Materials.
Electronic Waste. Republic Services of Contra Costa County shall provide curbside collection and disposal services for Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) and other electronic waste items. Collection and disposal costs will be paid for by the resident using the collection service OR subsidized by the City when outside funding becomes available. Republic Services of Contra Costa County will publish and promote collection rates for designated electronic waste items.

For purposes of this Contract, the term hazardous waste shall also include motor oil, gasoline, batteries, paint, paint thinner, insecticides, toxic materials, acids, drugs, fireworks, ammunition and other hazardous substances so designated by the City, Hennepin County or Xxxxxx County. Holidays Any of the following major annual holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Household Solid Waste All solid waste from eligible RDUs which normally results from the operation of a household, including (but not limited to): all mixed municipal solid waste, recyclables, yard waste, bulky waste, household electronic waste and other problem material waste. Household solid waste and recyclables do not include hazardous waste. Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) A centralized recycling facility for receiving, storing, sorting, processing and transfer of recyclable materials to end markets or other intermediate processors. Missed Collection The failure of the Contractor to provide collection service to an RDU within the City during collection hours on the scheduled day of collection. Open Collection A system of solid waste collection whereby residents subscribe directly with a licensed collector. Electronic Waste. Contractor shall collect, package, transport, dispose of and recycle (not reuse) computer and electronic equipment that include, but are not limited to: cathode ray tubes (CRT), computers and monitors, cellular telephones, small household appliances, and other items containing circuit boards and batteries. Contractor shall follow any mutually agreed terms for reimbursement from recycling electronic waste and obtain any necessary certifications from the State to qualify for reimbursement claims.
Electronic Waste. “Electronic Waste” for purposes of this Agreement means electronic waste materials generated by residential or commercial Customers that render the items hazardous depending upon their condition and density, such as, but not limited to, televisions, computer monitors containing Cathode Ray Tubes (CRTs), cell phones, scanners, fax machines and other items as determined by applicable laws and regulations.
