Temporary Positions. Any position created as a temporary position which is filled for more than twelve (12) consecutive months shall either be eliminated at the end of twelve (12) months or the position shall then be considered a regular position and become part of the bargaining unit. A temporary employee who is retained beyond the twelve (12) month period will be required to complete an initial probationary period.
