Special Personal Information definition

Special Personal Information means Personal Information as referred to in Section 26 of POPIA
Special Personal Information means any Personal Information of a data subject, concerning (a) the religious or philosophical beliefs, race or ethnic origin, trade union membership, political persuasion, health or sex life or biometric information of a Data Subject; or (b) the criminal behaviour of a Data Subject to the extent that such information relates to (i) the alleged commission by a Data Subject of any offence; or(ii) any proceedings in respect of any offence allegedly committed by a Data Subject or the disposal of such proceedings;
Special Personal Information means information relating to the religious or philosophical beliefs, race or ethnic origin, trade union membership, political persuasion, health or sex life or biometric information or the criminal behaviour of a data subject.

  • Each Party acknowledges the sensitive nature of the Personal Information to be exchanged under this Agreement and that where applicable some of the Personal Information may constitute Special Personal Information).

More Definitions of Special Personal Information

Special Personal Information means information relating to a person’s (a) religious or philosophical beliefs, race or ethnic origin, trade union membership, political persuasion, health or sex life or biometric information of a data subject; or (b) criminal behavior, as defined under the Act.
