Sensitive Personal Information definition

Sensitive Personal Information or “SPI” means the information categories listed at Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 521.002(2).
Sensitive Personal Information or “SPI” includes information that is not available elsewhere or may harm an individual by being made available as categorized in Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 521.002(a)(2). SPI does not include publicly available information that is lawfully made available to the public from the federal government or a state or local government. All defined terms found in the Contract shall have the same force and effect, regardless of capitalization.
Sensitive Personal Information means: (1) an individual’s first name or first initial and last name in combination with any one or more of the following items, if the name and the items are not encrypted: (a) social security number; (b) driver’s license number or government-issued identification number; (c) account number or credit or debit card number in combination with any required security code, access, code, or password that would permit access to an individual’s financial account; or (2) PHI information that identifies an individual and relates to: (a) the physical or mental health or condition of the individual; (b) the provision of health care to the individual; or (c) payment for the provision of health care to the individual.

Examples of Sensitive Personal Information in a sentence

  • If the Contractor intends to release or disclose the Sensitive Personal Information of an In-home Caregiver for a reason that is unrelated to a particular third party request, the Contractor shall provide written notice to DCYF no less than twenty-one (21) calendar days prior to the intended release date.

  • If a third party requestor seeks from the Contractor the Sensitive Personal Information of an In-home Caregiver, or the Contractor intends to release or disclose the Sensitive Personal Information of an In-home Caregiver for any other reason not related to a third party request, the Contractor shall give notice to DCYF of such request and/or the Contractor’s intent to release or disclose such information.

  • Such Data, information, and Materials shall include but is not limited to all Confidential Information and Sensitive Personal Information of In-home Caregivers.

  • Contractor represents and warrants that, as required by state law (RCW 42.56.640, RCW 42.56.645, and RCW 43.17.410), it agrees to fully comply will all applicable non-disclosure requirements that pertain to the Sensitive Personal Information of In- home Caregivers.

  • The Contractor understands and agrees that it will not release the Sensitive Personal Information of an In-home Caregiver without the express written consent from DCYF, or a lawfully issued court order in which DCYF has been given an opportunity to oppose prior to entry of the order.


More Definitions of Sensitive Personal Information

Sensitive Personal Information means personally identifying information of In-home Caregivers including, but not limited to: names, addresses, GPS [global positioning system] coordinates, telephone numbers, email addresses, social security numbers, driver's license numbers, or other personally identifying information.

Sensitive Personal Information means Personal Information about race or ethnicity, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, physical or mental health, sexual life, any actual or alleged criminal offences or penalties, national identification number, or any other information that may be deemed to be sensitive under applicable law.
Sensitive Personal Information means any of the following: (i) credit, debit or other payment card data subject to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (“PCI DSS”), or other financial account numbers or credentials; (ii) patient, medical or other protected health information regulated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”); (iii) social security numbers, driver’s license numbers or other government ID numbers;
Sensitive Personal Information means any information or opinion about an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinion or association, religious beliefs or affiliations, philosophical beliefs, sexual preferences or practices, trade or professional associations and memberships, union membership, criminal record, health or genetic information and biometric information or templates.
Sensitive Personal Information means personal information that reveals race, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership or that concerns an individual’s health.
Sensitive Personal Information means personally identifying information including, but not limited to: names, addresses, health information, GPS [Global Positioning System] coordinates, telephone numbers, email addresses, social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, or other personally identifying information, and any financial identifiers.
