Skills and abilities definition

Skills and abilities means the technical or manual proficiencies which are usually learned or acquired through training and are measurable and observable, and the demonstrable capacity to apply several knowledge and skills simultaneously to complete a task or perform an observable behavior.
Skills and abilities means that the employee must have to be able to perform the required work as determined by HR without further training. “Without further training” means the ability to perform with the same competency as the “bumped employee” as related to the essential job duties of the job description within ten (10) working days. Job descriptions for this purpose are those position descriptions on record.
