Settlement Approval Hearing definition

Settlement Approval Hearing means the hearing by the Court to determine whether this Settlement is fair and reasonable in accordance with the Class Proceedings Act and to approve the Class Counsel Fees and Expenses.

More Definitions of Settlement Approval Hearing

Settlement Approval Hearing means the settlement approval hearing, to be held after notice has been provided to the Settlement Class in accordance with Section V of this Agreement: (1) to determine whether to grant approval of the Settlement; and (2) to approve the Claims Forms and other Settlement-related documents.
