School Sites definition

School Sites means collectively the School Sites, as defined in the DBFM Agreement, upon which the Schools will be located, as shown in Schedule “B” attached hereto.
School Sites means any part of Reserve Lands upon which school facilities and buildings, related ornamental lawn areas, parking lots, sports fields and play areas are located;
School Sites means School Site No. 1, School Site No. 2 and School Site No. 6.

  • Contractor understands and acknowledges that, due to COVID-19, there are certain risks inherent in visiting public spaces, such as the School Sites, and/or engaging in activities, gatherings, or events with or within proximity of others, including, without limitation, accident, personal or bodily injury, illness, disease, viral or bacterial exposure or infection, and/or death, and that engaging in such activities may be dangerous.

  • Contractor acknowledges and understands that the insurance to be maintained by District on the School Sites will not insure any of Contractor’s equipment or personal property.

  • The Parties acknowledge that title to each of the School Sites is held by the District.

  • Contractor understands and agrees that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the District, whether a COVID-19 infection or exposure occurs before, during, or after Contractor’s use of the School Sites.

  • This waiver and release is intended to discharge the District against any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with Contractor’s use of the School Sites, even though that liability may occur or arise out of the negligence or carelessness on the part of the District.

  • It is understood and recognized by Contractor that the School Sites will be used by other parties, including District, and Contractor shall cooperate with the other parties in reaching amicable arrangements regarding matters of concern, such as use of common areas, security measures, etc.

  • Accordingly, Contractor shall, at its own expense, maintain in full force and effect an insurance policy on all of its equipment and personal property in, about, or on the School Sites.

  • Contractor shall provide the Program Services described in Exhibit “A”, attached hereto and made part of this Agreement, at the School Sites in Exhibit “B”.

  • Contractor shall, at no additional cost to the District and at the District’s request, coordinate its Work to not disturb District students when students at the School Site(s) are taking State-required tests.

  • This Facilities Lease shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, and venued in the County within which the School Site(s) is located.


More Definitions of School Sites

School Sites means the lands on which the Schools are required to be constructed (excluding all fixtures and improvements constructed thereon) as described in Schedule 12, and “School Site” means any one of them;
School Sites dated as of August 11, 2016, as amended by that certain First Amendment to Memorandum of School Agreement, dated as of September 27, 2022 (the “First Amendment to School Agreement”, together with the Original School Agreement, and as may be further amended, modified or supplemented from time to time, collectively, the “School Agreement”), by and between the School District and Master Developer (as defined below). A copy of the School Agreement was provided as part of the Property Materials. Pursuant to Section 3 of the First Amendment to School Agreement, Master Developer and the School Board have agreed that the School will be in a location in substantially the same location in the Property as set forth in the Revised Land Use Plan (the “Village 2 School Site”). The Village 2 School Site is included in the Property to be purchased by Buyer pursuant to this Agreement. The parties acknowledge and agree that the Revised Land Use Plan and any future parent final maps or other parcel maps for Village 2 shall include the Village 2 School Site as required by the School Agreement, and that pursuant to Section 3.4, upon the final determination of the location of the Village 2 School Site (the “Final School Location”) by Buyer and the School District, Buyer shall cause any Survey to be updated to show the location and boundaries of the Village 2 School Site. 6.10.2 Upon and only in the event of the Closing of the Phase which includes the Village 2 School Site (the “School Site Closing”), Seller shall convey the Village 2 School Site to Buyer as part of the Phase 1 Property or Phase 2 Property, as the case may be. From and after the School Site Closing (provided that such School Site Closing has occurred under this Agreement), Buyer will be required to complete certain construction and other work with respect to the Village 2 School Site pursuant to the School Agreement and as described therein, including, without limitation, certain site sheet grading, full streets around, site work up to the back of curb for, and stubbed out utilities to the property line of the Village 2 School Site (the “School Site Work”) as and when required by the School Agreement. Specifically, Buyer will assume such obligations pursuant to the Village Developer Assignment (as defined below), and such assumption shall be effective as of the applicable Phase Closing containing the Village 2 School Site and such

School Sites means those certain tracts of land situated in Utah County, Utah and more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto.

Related to School Sites

  • School bus means every motor vehicle owned by a public or governmental agency or private school and operated for the transportation of pupils, children of pupils, teachers and other persons acting in a supervisory capacity, to or from school or school activities, or, privately owned and operated for compensation for the transportation of pupils, children of pupils, teachers and other persons acting in a supervisory capacity to or from school or school activities (Education Law §11[1] and Vehicle and Traffic Law §142).

  • School equipment means a durable school-owned machine, equipment, or tool used by a student as part of an activity, course, or program in a secondary school and includes a saw or 3D printer. “School equipment” includes a saw or 3D printer.

  • School nurse means a registered professional nurse with Maine Department of Education certification for school nursing.

  • Site means the place or places where the permanent Works are to be carried out including workshops where the same is being prepared.

  • Schools means preschools, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and similar facilities, both public and private, used primarily for the instruction of minors.

  • Campsite means any place where any bedding, sleeping bag, or other material used for bedding purposes, or any stove or fire is placed, established or maintained for the purpose of maintaining a temporary place to live, whether or not such place incorporates the use of any tent, lean-to, shack, or any other structure, or any vehicle or part thereof.

  • Retail marijuana store means an entity licensed to purchase Retail Marijuana from a Retail Marijuana Cultivation Facility and to purchase Retail Marijuana Product from a Retail Marijuana Products Manufacturing Facility and to sell Retail Marijuana and Retail Marijuana Product to consumers.

  • The Site, where applicable, means the designated project place(s) named in the bidding document.

  • Playground means a public outdoor recreation area for children, usually equipped with swings, slides, and other playground equipment, owned and/or managed by a city, county, state, or federal government.
