Federal Land Manager definition

Federal Land Manager means, with respect to any lands in the United States, the Secretary of the department with authority over such lands.

Federal Land Manager means the Secretary of the department with authority over a Class I Federal area or his or her representative.

• The preliminary determination that a source may affect air quality or visibility in a mandatory Class I federal area shall be made by the Department, based on screening criteria agreed upon by the Department and the Federal Land Manager.

• The Director shall consider any analysis concerning visibility impairment performed by the Federal Land Manager if the analysis is received within 30 days of notification.

• The notice of public hearing, if required, shall explain any differences between the Department's preliminary determination and any visibility analysis performed by the Federal Land Manager and provided to the Department within thirty (30) days of the notification pursuant to Subsection 209.02.b.ii.
