A Community Care Worker would not normally live at the client’s residence for periods in excess of 48 hours.
Full- time employees shall be granted two (2) weekends off per month, subject to operational requirements.
The total weekly remuneration for a Live - in Housekeeper - Grade 1 shall be calculated as follows: Total Weekly Rate = Weekly Rate for a Community Care Employee Grade 1 + All Incidents Loading The All Incidents Loading for a Live - in Housekeeper - Grade 1 is calculated by obtaining 30% of the relevant weekly rate.
The Association will ensure that all Licensed Childcare operated in the Jointly Operated Facilities will meet the standards set by the Park Board and City and will be in compliance with any other relevant standards and Applicable Laws, including the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (BC), as it may be amended or replaced from time to time.
Indicative but not exclusive of the qualifications required in this level include a Certificate III Home & Community Care or equivalent; or relevant experience/on-the-job training commensurate with the requirements of work in this level.
