Government guidance also discourages trips out of school. We recognise that children and their families have differing circumstances and we aim to make our home learning appropriate and accessible for all pupils. Reading - Children are expected to read for at least 20 minutes every day. This helps improve their comprehension and their writing, as well as build their stamina. Reading Eggspress homework will also be set weekly. Please ensure that Reading Records and reading books are brought into school every day. Maths - At least 4 Mathletics tasks set each week. Children can do these at school if needed. Children to learn their times tables off by heart if they do not know them already.
