Temporary Change of Duties. The provisions specified in Article 6.06-Temporary Change of Duties shall apply to part-time employees.

On each occasion that employees are appointed to relieve in a senior position coming within the jurisdiction of this Collective Agreement, which requires them to perform the duties of the senior position, for one (1) day or more, they shall be remunerated each complete relieving day at a relief rate of five (5) percent increase in pay for the employee.

Temporary Change of Duties. 22.01 (a) A Permanent or Probationary employee formally assigned to a temporary change of duties for a period of four (4) or more continuous working hours to a position of higher classification shall, from the first hour, be paid at a rate increased by the equivalent step in their present classification. The Parties recognize maintaining the health and safety of students, staff, and teachers during the coronavirus epidemic may require classified employees to perform health and safety duties that are not included in their typical job duties. The District may assign any classified employee to perform such duties during the term of this MOU.
Temporary Change of Duties. All employees shall be assigned to a position which has assigned to it a regular rate of pay according to the classification of the position. When an employee works 3.25 or more hours per shift at work other than that which corresponds to the classification of their assigned position, they shall be paid the regular rate of pay of the classification of the work performed for the time they are engaged in such work. The necessity for coverage regarding supervisory positions on days where the permanent incumbent is off as a result of a Compressed Hours of Work arrangement is determined by the City. Not every absence created by a Compressed Hours of Work day off will result in the need for an acting/relieving assignment. Statutory Holidays When a statutory holiday falls on a scheduled work day, a day’s pay for a statutory holiday or a day off with pay in lieu of a statutory holiday, shall be paid at the regularly scheduled daily hours (13 hrs, 20 mins). When a statutory holiday falls on a scheduled off day and a lieu day cannot be provided, the employee shall receive 8 hours pay.
Temporary Change of Duties. 12.01 On each occasion that employees are appointed, in writing, to relieve in a senior position coming within the jurisdiction of this Collective Agreement, which requires them to perform duties of a higher level than those which would normally be assigned the position for which they are employed on a regular basis, for one (1) day or more (statutory holidays included), they shall be remunerated for the whole of the period at an increase to the first step above their present salary in the salary range of the relieved position or to the initial salary of the relieved position, whichever is greater.
