Teacher Benefits. 19.1 The District shall contribute no more than the amount per month per full time bargaining unit member toward the payment of premiums for health, dental, and vision insurance as specified by a side letter of agreement. The plan shall be that plan which is identified for the benefit year in the side letter of agreement and posted on the District website.

Teacher Benefits. Section A: Personal Injury Benefits Paragraph 1: Worker’s Compensation‌ The Board shall provide Kansas Worker’s Compensation benefits for all teachers. If a teacher has a compensable worker’s compensation claim, the teacher will be paid at 100% for the period of time that temporary leave is available. A teacher may choose to save up to five (5) accumulated temporary leave days. Once temporary leave is exhausted, compensation will be reduced to 70% up to a maximum of 180 total calendar days from the date of disability. After 180 days, the teacher’s position may be refilled, but the teacher may be eligible to continue receiving worker’s compensation benefits at the reduced rate of the statutory maximum.
