Special Use. Definition: An activity proposed for a facility or site that is not specifically designed for that purpose, and is not pre-approved by the facility owner. Examples: Community festival in gymnasium. Parking on sports fields. Approval: A written request, which describes in detail the proposed event, is submitted to the affected partners at least 28 days prior to the event or activity. Consultation among affected JUA parties is held in a timely fashion such that the applicant would receive notice of approval or refusal at least 14 days prior to event. EXPECTATIONS OF FACILITY USERS The use of facilities under the Joint Use Agreement is a privilege. At all times, your behaviour should reflect that of a guest invited into someone’s home. Have a copy of your license with you at all times. Supervise the entry and exit of all your participants. Maintain responsibility for the behaviour of your participants at all times. Show respect for the facility, any equipment you use, and the authority of the staff person in charge of the facility. Report any damage or behaviour issue to the staff person on site (where applicable) immediately, complete the incident form, and advise your Sponsoring Agent* as soon as possible. Read and meet all the requirements outlined in the License Agreement. Read and follow all instructions in the Guidelines for Use of the facility you are using.

Special Use. Landlord approves and agrees that for the term of the Lease ----------- Tenant may sublet office space to its outside attorney and the attendant office space necessary to perform that function.
Special Use. Seller has not claimed the benefit of any law permitting a special use valuation (such as "agricultural" or "open space") for the purpose of obtaining an ad valorem tax rate lower than the normal rate applicable to the Assets.
Special Use. During each calendar year beginning (i) in 2023, or (ii) upon PVSC having managed the Premises during the most recent fiscal year on a net asset basis, whichever first occurs, County may use portions of the Premises at reduced cost, as described herein (“Special Use”). Each Special Use shall be requested by the County Executive Officer, or designee, in writing and shall be confirmed by PVSC in advance as described below. Special Use pursuant to this provision shall not occur on weekends, Federal holidays, or evenings after 5:00 pm. The County shall pay PVSC for custodial materials and labor, and table and seating setup. PVSC shall provide on-site parking and utilities at no cost. The following facilities shall be provided each calendar year, in the quantities described below, and subject to availability at the time of booking:
Special Use. An Employee who has exhausted his/her sick leave may use his/her personal business leave in lieu thereof.

In addition, use of any space used by the Lessor for purposes of worship may not be used without the express permission of the Presbytery [Book of Order, Section G-4.0206(b)].

Effective July 1, 2021, faculty members will be permitted to use their accrued and available sick leave when the faculty member is unable to telework and is required to be at home to provide parental supervision for minor children under the age of 16 who are required to quarantine at the direction of the child’s/children’s school or child care provider consistent with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) and/or Minnesota Department of Health guidelines due to contagious disease exposure, but where the child/children are not themselves ill. At the discretion of the state university Human Resources office, the faculty member may be required to provide documentation of a directive to quarantine by the child’s school or childcare provider.
