Service Defined. After initial placement on the salary schedule, a "full year of service" (defined as at least three-fourths of the days school is in session) is required to advance to the next step on the schedule. Part-time employees’ salaries, benefits, and duty assignments will be prorated based on the number of teaching periods of the employee. Regular contract employees who serve less than a full year will be paid on a per diem basis.
Service Defined. SECTION 1. Service is hereby defined as repair, replacement, testing, analysis, maintenance and adjustment necessary to make operative any heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration systems and control systems.

Service Defined. Service for full-time employees shall be defined as the length of an employee's continuous employment with the Company, beginning on the date of hire. Company service shall be applied separately from part-time employees as a group distinct from full-time employees and defined as the length of an employee’s continuous employment with the Company, beginning on the date of hire.
Service Defined. Length of employment in the Company (including the length of all previous periods of employment in the Company) shall be known as “service”. Benefits, such as, CTO pay during absence, pension, and (For those listed in attachment “A” OPT Election/Recognition history) - Voluntary Separation Plan and for Trade-the layoff allowance, are based on service.
Service Defined. For employees at January 15, 1987, for the purposes of this section "Service" means employment with the Caucus, BC Government and Ministerial service. For employees hired on or after January 16, 1987, "Service" means employment with the Caucus, B.C. NDP Government and B.C. NDP Ministerial Service.
