Actively at Work definition

Actively at Work and "active work" means actually performing on a Full- time basis each and every duty pertaining to your job in the place where and the manner in which the job is normally performed. This includes approved time off such as vacation, jury duty and funeral leave, but does not include time off as a result of injury or illness.
Actively at Work or “Active Employment” shall mean performance by the Employee of all the regular duties of his or her occupation at an established business location of the Participating Employer, or at another location to which he or she may be required to travel to perform the duties of his or her employment. An Employee shall be deemed Actively at Work if the Employee is absent from work due to a health factor. In no event will an Employee be considered Actively at Work if he or she has effectively terminated employment.
Actively at Work means that an employee is in active payroll status and not using paid or unpaid leave.

Actively at Work or "Active Work" means that you are performing all of the material duties of your job with the Employer where these duties are normally carried out. If you were Actively at Work on your last scheduled working day, you will be deemed Actively at Work:
Actively at Work and “Active Work” means being in attendance in person at the usual customary place or places of business acting in the performance of the duties of the Employee’s occupation on a full time basis devoting full efforts and energies thereto, except that an Employee shall be deemed Actively at Work on each day of a regular paid vacation, or on any day in which he/she is absent from work due to a health factor, for a period not to exceed twelve (12) weeks; provided he/she was Actively at Work on the last preceding regular work day. In the case of a new enrollee, eligibility will not be denied if the Employee is absent from work due to a health factor, however, work must begin before coverage will become effective.
Actively at Work means the employee is physically and mentally capable of doing each and every function of his/her occupation, on the basis of the minimum number of hours worked per week specified in the Schedule of Benefits. If an employee is not actively at work due to vacation, holidays, a non-scheduled working day, maternity or parental leave, then actively at work means the capability to perform the employee’s normal duties at the employee’s normal place of employment on the same basis as the employee who is actively at work.
