If not ordered within 5 hours of the advertised start time the employee will be paid a basic day, and will not be called prior to their next scheduled tour of duty. Employees reporting after 7 days will forfeit any guarantee payments until such time as they report. Employees failing to report at the expiration of 30 days will forfeit all seniority rights and their services will be dispensed with unless they are able to give a satisfactory reason, in writing, to account for their failure to report. Road Switcher Assignments. (a) Road switchers may be bulletined and assigned to work 6, 6 or more, or 7 days per week at the daily local freight rate of pay, making as many trips as may be necessary for doing their work, 8 hours or less to constitute a day. Overtime will begin at the expiration of 8 hours and will be paid for on a minute basis at an hourly rate of 3/16 of the daily rate, according to the class of locomotive or other power used. Initial and final terminal allowances made to local freight assignments under the various schedule rules are not applicable to road switchers. (See exception contained in Article 4, Section H (Cont’d.)‌ Article 7, Section D, where road switcher crews handle LCL.)

  • Summer Assignments Employees who worked less than a 12-month schedule at the 10 time of their work-related accident will not be guaranteed summer employment while 11 participating in the Alternate Duty Program.

  • TEACHER ASSIGNMENT A. Under normal circumstances, the teachers will be notified by the Administration in writing of their programs for the coming school year, including the school(s) to which they will be assigned, the grades and/or subjects that they will teach, and any special or unusual classes that they will have by one (1) week before the close of school. Changes in such programs may be made after one (1) week before the close of school, if necessary, and the teachers involved in the change will be notified as soon as possible.

  • Room Assignments A. The University draws students from many states, nations, races and religions. It will be the responsibility of each resident to respect the rights of all residents in university residence halls. Admission to Texas A&M University – Texarkana and any of its sponsored programs is open to qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability. Room and roommate assignments are made without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.

  • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • Training Assignments The Supervisor or designee may establish written training assignments to enable an employee to gain the additional experience and training required for the job for a period of time not to exceed two years. At the completion of the training assignment, the employee’s pay will be set no less than the entry rate of pay for the occupational pay band.

  • Transfer/Assignment (A) Subject to compliance with clause (B) of this Section 8, this Warrant and all rights hereunder are transferable, in whole or in part, upon the books of the Company by the registered holder hereof in person or by duly authorized attorney, and a new warrant shall be made and delivered by the Company, of the same tenor and date as this Warrant but registered in the name of one or more transferees, upon surrender of this Warrant, duly endorsed, to the office or agency of the Company described in Section 3. All expenses (other than stock transfer taxes) and other charges payable in connection with the preparation, execution and delivery of the new warrants pursuant to this Section 8 shall be paid by the Company.

  • Relief Assignments 3.1 All possible regular relief assignments with five days work per week and two consecutive rest days (subject to Rule 2) shall be established to perform necessary relief work or to perform relief work on certain days and such types of other work on other days as may be assigned under this Agreement.

  • Assignment to Financing Providers Seller shall be permitted to assign this Agreement as collateral for any financing or refinancing of the Project with the prior written consent of the Buyer, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. If Buyer gives its consent, then such consent shall be in a form substantially similar to the Form of Consent to Assignment attached hereto as Appendix VII provided that (i) Buyer shall not be required to consent to any additional terms or conditions beyond those contained in Appendix VII, including extension of any cure periods or additional remedies for financing providers, and (ii) Seller shall be responsible at Buyer’s request for Buyer’s reasonable costs associated with the review, negotiation, execution and delivery of documents in connection with such assignment, attorneys’ fees.
