Common use of Retirement Gratuity Clause in Contracts

Retirement Gratuity. An employee who reaches retirement age and retires in accordance with the Pension (Municipal) Act and has completed ten (10) years or more continuous service shall be granted one (1) month’s extra pay and, if an employee has not taken vacation for the current year, the employee shall be paid in lieu of such vacation in accordance with Article 21.06.
