Parental Notification. When the building principal is advised of a student’s arrest, pursuant to the provisions of this Agreement, the principal or his or her designee will, as soon as practicable, and in accordance with N.J.A.C. 6A:16-6.2(b)3 and 11 and the associated board of education policies and procedures regarding parental notification, contact a parent or guardian of the student. It is understood that the law enforcement agency making the arrest also is required to attempt to contact the student’s parent or guardian pursuant to N.J.S.A. 2A:4A-33. It is agreed that the (school official) shall at the request of the (law enforcement agency) and/or the County Prosecutor’s Office provide information concerning the efforts by the principal or school staff to contact and notify the student’s parent(s) or guardian.
Parental Notification. In addition to the required notification7 of parents and legal guardians by the law enforcement officer taking the student into custody, school principals or their designee are also responsible for an additional notification of parents and legal guardians upon a school-based arrest of their child. 7 § 985.101(3), Fla. Stat. (2013).

We reserve the right to contact the parent(s) or guardians(s) of residents under the age of 21 involved in dangerous and/or inappropriate behaviors that are threatening to oneself or others. EHS staff members will make a decision on whether to contact parents depending on the severity of the situation.

Please keep your child’s caregiver informed about any significant events happening in your child’s life. We will keep you informed of any significant happenings at our center by posting notices on the door and putting copies in your child’s backpack. Parental Notification. The School District administration shall take reasonable steps to notify students and their parents/guardians of this policy once each school year. Such notification shall encourage students to immediately report suspected drug overdoses to school officials to ensure medical assistance can be immediately provided. Reasonable means to notify students, parents and guardians of this policy shall include, but not be limited to, electronic communications, publication through student handbooks, school newsletters, the School District’s official website and other similar paper or electronic means of communication.
Parental Notification. Under FERPA the University reserves the right to notify the parent or guardian of students less than 21 years of age of findings of responsibility for any violation of the alcohol and/or drug policy.

Subject to FERPA, Xxxxxx State University reserves the right to notify parents/guardians of students regarding any conduct situation, including alcohol and other drug related violations. Xxxxxx State University may contact parents/guardians to inform them of situations in which there is a health and/or safety risk.
