Jury Leave. Upon written request, supported by a copy of the summons, an employee shall be granted leave paid at the rate of her full salary, less what the court pays for the performance of the required duties, to appear for or serve jury duty, provided that such appearance and/or service actually conflicts with her scheduled duties and provided that upon return to work she shall provide her supervisor with written confirmation of the date(s) and time(s) on which she appeared and/or served, signed by an appropriate official of the Court.

Jury Leave. Leave of absence with pay shall be granted to a represented employee who has been selected for jury duty that is mandatory, provided, however, that in circumstances where it is deemed necessary by the City, the represented employee shall cooperate by requesting a deferral of such jury duty to a later date. A represented employee who serves on jury duty shall be paid regular salary for the period of such duty. The represented employee shall keep any fees he/she receives for jury duty.
Jury Leave. A faculty member shall be entitled to as many days of paid leave as are necessary when called for jury duty or when summoned for a court appearance not as a result of the faculty member’s own misconduct or connivance. Any monies received from the courts as jury duty pay shall be transferred to the District, mileage excluded. Upon completion of jury duty, the faculty member shall submit a certification of jury service to the District.
