Jury Service 44.1 Subject to this clause, Employees are entitled to leave and payment for jury service in accordance with the NES.
EMPLOYEE JURY SERVICE (check one or more boxes) Contractors with original or amended contracts in excess of $100,000 must have and adhere to a written policy that provides its employees living in San Mateo County up to five days regular pay for actual jury service in the County. Contractor complies with the County’s Employee Jury Service Ordinance. Contractor does not comply with the County’s Employee Jury Service Ordinance. Contractor is exempt from this requirement because: the contract is for $100,000 or less. Contractor is a party to a collective bargaining agreement that began on (date) and expires on (date), and intends to comply when the collective bargaining agreement expires. TRIAL SERVICE Section 1. Each employee appointed to a position in the bargaining unit by initial appointment or promotion shall, with each appointment, serve a trial service period.
Service Each Party further agrees that service of any process, summons, notice or document by registered mail to its address set forth in Section 9.2.2 shall be effective service of process for any action, suit or proceeding brought against it under this Agreement in any such court.
Written Employee Jury Service Policy 1. Unless the Contractor has demonstrated to the County’s satisfaction either that the Contractor is not a “Contractor” as defined under the Jury Service Program (Section 2.203.020 of the County Code) or that the Contractor qualifies for an exception to the Jury Service Program (Section 2.203.070 of the County Code), the Contractor shall have and adhere to a written policy that provides that its Employees shall receive from the Contractor, on an annual basis, no less than five days of regular pay for actual jury service. The policy may provide that Employees deposit any fees received for such jury service with the Contractor or that the Contractor deduct from the Employee’s regular pay the fees received for jury service.
Jury Service Leave 6.18.1 An employee, other than a casual employee, required to attend for jury service during their ordinary working hours shall be reimbursed by the employer an amount equal to the difference between the amount paid in respect of their attendance for such jury service and the ordinary pay the employee would have been paid if the employee was not absent on jury service.

Laundry Service If the Government provides a laundry service at the incident base camp, the Contractor may utilize the service at no cost.
