Instructional Workload. 1. The standard faculty instructional workload shall be a minimum of twenty-nine (29) instructional hours per week and a maximum of thirty-five (35) instructional hours per week with no more than three (3) preparations per semester and no more than five (5) preparations per year.

Instructional Workload. (a) The actual instructional assignment of a faculty member shall be developed via consultation between the faculty member and Xxxx or designate. This consultation shall address educational and professional issues relevant to the course or program in which the faculty member shall be instructing, the demands of any other approved activities in which the faculty member shall be involved and related operational issues.
Instructional Workload. The full-time instructional workload for non-tenure track bargaining unit members on a 9-month appointment shall be forty-two (42) IWLUs per academic year and fifty-six (56) IWLUs for those on 11- or 12-month appointments. A bargaining unit member’s teaching assignment may include any modality (face-to-face, remote, online, or hybrid). The normal instructional load is 14 IWLUs per term.
