GOVERNING LAW, STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS. This contract is funded by the Criminal Justice Division of Texas (CJD) under their Regional Juvenile Mental Health Services Program incorporated in the State Criminal Justice Planning Fund (SF 421). Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable state and federal laws and local ordinances including but not limited to licenses, legal certifications, or inspections required for the services, facilities, equipment, or materials used. H-GAC, upon request or at its own discretion, may provide additional standards, guidelines or requirements to aid Contractor in rendering appropriate performance. H-GAC’s provision of this information shall in no way supersede the precedence of applicable laws and regulations.

GOVERNING LAW, STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS. Fort Bend County shall furnish training that has received certification and accreditation by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. The Fort Bend County must have a current license to conduct law enforcement training granted by the Commission. For goods and services other than direct training, all licenses, legal certifications, or inspections required for the services, facilities, equipment, or materials must comply with all applicable state and federal laws and local ordinances. H-GAC may, upon request or at its own discretion, provide additional standards, guidelines or requirements to aid Fort Bend County in rendering appropriate performance. H-GAC’s provision of this information shall in no way supersede the precedence of applicable laws and regulations.

GOVERNING LAW, STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS. This Agreement is entered into by and between the Subrecipient and H-GAC. The activities funded under this Agreement shall be in accordance with all provisions of this Agreement, all applicable state and local laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines. The main governing standards included, but may not be limited to the following: 1) §361.014 of the Texas Health & Safety Code Xxx.; 2) Title 30 Texas Administrative Code (30 TAC) Chapter 330, Section 330.649, TCEQ Rules and 30 TAC Chapter 14, TCEQ Rules; 3) The Uniform Grant and Contract Management Act, Texas Government Code Xxx., §§783.001 et.   • Compliance with Laws, Rules and Regulations Tenant, at its sole cost and expense, shall comply with all laws, ordinances, orders, rules and regulations of state, federal, municipal, or other agencies or bodies having jurisdiction over use, condition, and occupancy of the Leased Premises. Tenant must use and maintain the Leased Premises in a clean, careful, safe, and proper manner and in compliance with all Applicable Laws, including Applicable Laws pertaining to health, safety, disabled persons, and the environment; provided, however, that Tenant shall not be required to make any structural changes or repairs to the Leased Premises unless the need for such structural changes or repairs is caused by Tenant, its agents, employees, invitees, or others for whom Tenant is responsible pursuant to the terms and provisions of this Lease. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained elsewhere in this section, it is expressly agreed and understood that Tenant’s obligation to comply with all Applicable Laws does not apply to any violations of Applicable Laws that (a) were in effect and (b) were being violated or with which the Leased Premises was not in compliance immediately prior to the time Tenant accepted the Leased Premises, including without limitation any existing environmental contamination. Tenant will comply with the rules and regulations of the Leased Premises adopted by Landlord in its reasonable discretion. All such rules and regulations and changes and amendments thereto will be sent by Landlord to Tenant in writing and shall thereafter be carried out and observed by Tenant.

  • Governing Laws and Regulations a. That this Agreements shall be governed by the provisions of the India Contract Act, 1872, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Consumer Protection (Direct Selling} Rules, 2021 or other laws of the land.
