Extracurricular Activity. 1. Assignment to extracurricular activity shall be voluntary. If there is no volunteer for Categories II and III listed in Appendix B, the school Principal may assign a teacher to such position for a maximum of one year. A teacher may be involuntarily assigned in such a manner only once during the life of this Agreement.

Extracurricular Activity. A. When required by the principal or other authorized agent, any teacher assigned as a full- time faculty member of a single school unit shall be responsible for sponsoring a minimum of one (1) extracurricular activity in addition to the regular schedule of classroom teaching. The sponsorship of extracurricular activity shall not be cause for additional salary except in those instances where the School Board authorizes additional salary for additional responsibilities. Principals shall make every effort to assign sponsorship of extracurricular activities in an equitable manner. (Lunchroom, hall, study hall, and playground duties are not considered to be extracurricular activities.)
Extracurricular Activity. Whenever the extracurricular activity being performed in a school by a bargaining unit employee is discontinued, the bargaining unit employee shall be paid on a prorated basis for time worked.

Extracurricular Activity. Students at the School will be eligible for participation in extracurricular activities and athletic opportunities at the School in the same manner as other schools in the District to the extent such programs or sports are offered. Nothing herein prohibits the School from imposing stricter requirement for participation in extracurricular activities. Stu- dents at the School will be eligible to participate in interscholastic extracurricular activity at the public school to which the student would be assigned according to Sponsor policy, unless such activity is provided at the School, so long as the School student meets the requirements of 1006.15, Florida Statutes. All such students will be assigned to a school through Sponsor’s Stu- dent Assignment Office. The Sponsor agrees to support the School in its efforts to recognize stu- dent accomplishments. Such support shall include, but not be limited to, district competitions, district recognition programs and district scholarship programs. If there are any costs not paid for or reimbursed by the State, then the School shall pay its pro rata share of the costs of such recognition programs.
Extracurricular Activity. 7.1 Teacher participation in extra-curricular activities will be strictly voluntary. Compensation for all extra-curricular activities has been provided in Appendix "D" of this Agreement. Advisors and coaches will remain and supervise students involved in their activities until the last student is picked up.
