Exchange Teacher Leave. Definition: An exchange teacher shall be a teacher who is accepted to teach in a foreign country or domestic school under the conditions established by the International Education Exchange Program of the U.S. Office of Education and/or under approved programs established by the State Office of Public Instruction or other approved agency.
