Common use of Duration of the Agreement Clause in Contracts

Duration of the Agreement. 29.01 This Agreement shall become effective on the 1st day of January, 2018 and shall continue in effect up to and including the 31st day of December 2019, unless either party gives to the other party written notice of a desire to amend the Agreement, then it shall continue in effect for a further year without change, and so on from year to year thereafter.

If no such notice is given then it this agreement shall continue in effect for a further year without change, and so on from year to year thereafter.
