Current Employee. A current employee appointed pursuant to Article 25.07 shall be on a probationary period of one (1) month. At the discretion of the College, the probationary period may be extended in one (1) month periods for no longer than a total probationary period of three (3) months. If the employee finds the job unsatisfactory or is unable to meet the basic job requirements to the satisfaction of the College, the College shall either return her to her former position, or to one of an equal pay group.
Current Employee. For a change in the unit member’s duties, a revised job duty statement shall be developed by the supervisor with input from the Unit member at the time of the Unit member’s assignment to the position. A change is defined as a modification or expansion of the scope of the Unit members’ assignment, such as, supervision of new departments or program areas. When a Unit member receives a revised job duty statement, appropriate training will be provided, if needed. If a Job Duty Statement is not provided to the unit member at the time of his/her assignment to the position, a Job Duty Statement shall be mutually developed by the supervisor and the Unit member within twenty (20) working days of the assignment.
