Current Employee. To be eligible for the Retirement Early Notification Stipend (hereinafter, “Stipend”), a current Employee must meet both the age and years of service requirements pursuant to the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System (hereinafter, “Retirement System”) of which he/she is a member.

A change is defined as a modification or expansion of the scope of the Unit members’ assignment, such as, supervision of new departments or program areas. When a Unit member receives a revised job duty statement, appropriate training will be provided, if needed. If a Job Duty Statement is not provided to the unit member at the time of his/her assignment to the position, a Job Duty Statement shall be mutually developed by the supervisor and the Unit member within twenty (20) working days of the assignment.
