Community Contribution. Every Sixth Form student will be expected to make a Community Contribution of at least 36 hours over the course of the academic year (that’s roughly an hour per week). The nature of Community Contribution is up to the student. Certain activities will be organised by the Sixth Form, but students are equally encouraged to organise their own activities. Community Contribution. For the purpose of this policy, applicants involved in and/or participating to the community is defined as: Economic Contribution – households where at least one adult member is in employment within the Pennine Lancashire area (including permanent, temporary & self-employed), and has been employed for nine of the last 12 months. Verification will be required at point of offer. Accepted forms of verification are payslips, bank statements or a verifying letter from the employer. Voluntary Contribution – households where at least one adult member is volunteering within the Pennine Lancashire area and has been for a continuous period of six months and for a minimum of 10 hours per month. Verification will be required at the point of offer in the form of a letter from the manager of the organisation. Those applicants who are unable to be involved in or participate in their community due to a disability, caring responsibility or other characteristic will benefit from the same additional preference as those who are actively involved in and/or participating in their community, subject to satisfactory evidence.

Community Contribution. 1. The Community shall pay to UNRWA annually a cash contribution towards the cost of the education and health programmes. The size of this contribution for the education programme shall be EUR 32,45 million in 1999, EUR 34,07 million in 2000 and EUR 35,77 million in 2001. The size of this contribution for the general health programme shall be EUR 5,88 million in 1999, EUR 6,17 million in 2000 and EUR 6,48 million in 2001.
