Common use of Automatic Extension Clause in Contracts

Automatic Extension. The term of employment of the Employee hereunder shall automatically continue for additional one (1) year terms upon the same terms and conditions contained herein unless either the Company or the Employee shall notify the other at least six (6) months prior to the expiration of the initial one (1) year term or any renewal term of its or his intention to terminate the term of employment of the Employee as of the end of the initial one (1) year term or any such renewal term, as the case may be.
