Annual Conversion of Accumulated Sick Leave. Each January, any employee who at the end of the immediately previous calendar year shall have accumulated in excess of sixty days of unused sick leave may elect to convert unused sick leave earned the previous year in excess of sixty days to monetary compensation at the rate of 25% of the employee's current, full-time daily rate of compensation for each full day of eligible sick leave. Any such election shall be made by written notice to the Superintendent during the month of January. Any such annual conversion of accumulated sick leave shall be subject to the terms and limitations of law.

The Association agrees to provide annual survey packets to those members deemed eligible. The District agrees to make contributions to the plan on behalf of all Principals in the group eligible to participate in the plan by reason of having sick leave conversion rights. It is understood that all eligible Principals will be required to sign and submit to the District annually a hold harmless agreement complying with the statute. Should an eligible Principal fail to sign and submit such an agreement, he/she shall be ineligible to participate at any time during the term of this Agreement. Annual Conversion of Accumulated Sick Leave. 17 In January of each year, any eligible employee who at the end of the immediately previous calendar 18 year shall have accumulated in excess of 60 days (480 hours) of unused sick leave may elect to receive 19 remuneration for unused sick leave earned the previous year at the rate of 25% of the employee’s 20 current full-time daily rate of compensation for each full day (8 hours) of eligible sick leave (a 21 maximum of three (3) days or twenty four (24) hours in any one calendar year). Any such election 22 shall be made by written notice to the district personnel office during the month of January on forms 23 provided by the District. All sick leave days converted pursuant to this section shall be deducted from 24 the employee’s accumulated sick leave balance. Any such annual conversion of accumulated sick 25 leave shall be subject to the terms and limitations of Washington Administrative Code.   • Sick Leave Conversion On January 1 of each year, an employee may convert up to a maximum of 30 hours accumulated sick leave at fifty percent (50%) cash value for the sole purpose of reimbursing the employee for medical costs. This conversion is subject to the following:

The Board of Education will have an expectation that those teachers in attendance at school functions will assume a reasonable amount of general supervision as needed.

  • Accrued Sick Leave The Board shall provide all employees with a cumulative record 23 of accrued sick leave hours on each pay statement.

  • Accumulation of Sick Leave The unused portion of an Employee's sick leave shall accrue for her future benefit, up to a maximum of one hundred and thirty (130) days.
