Teaching Service definition

Teaching Service means the Teaching Service of New South Wales.
Teaching Service means the unified Teaching Service established under section 53;
Teaching Service means employment as a certi- fied teacher in a Washington public K-12 school on at least a half-time basis. This also includes comparable employment as a substitute teacher or part-time teaching positions.

  • The weights (Research, Teaching, Service) would be negotiated with the appropriate dean's office.

  • Where a member of the Teaching Service is promoted to a position in the province in which he is currently teaching the Division shall authorize payment of the fares and removal expenses for the appointee, his wife and family (if any) to take up the appointment.

Teaching Service means employment as a certified Teacher with the Northwest Catholic District School Board or any of its predecessor boards including time worked: - as an exchange Teacher; - while on loan to DND; - while on the recall list for a period not to exceed one year; - while on any leaves taken with the approval of the Board including leaves for lengthy illness; and - while working for the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association.
Teaching Service means the Teaching Service established under Part 2.4 of the Act.

Teaching Service means service for 20 hours or more a week as a paid teacher in any state school or specialist teaching service, or in Pacific Islands schools provided the teacher was appointed from New Zealand under a scheme of cooperation and the school was subject to inspection by the department’s inspectors of island schools, or as a professional officer of the department. This definition includes teaching service in a technical institute or university (including adult education extension teaching), but does not include service as a kindergarten teacher. Service as a demonstrator or in any other ancillary capacity does not count as teaching service. Periods recognised as teaching service are:
