Open Enrollment Period definition

Open Enrollment Period means an enrollment period during which time any Eligible Employee and/or Dependent may apply to become a Subscriber and/or Covered Dependent, and existing Subscribers may apply to change to another provider network or coverage option, if available, or elect to terminate coverage.
Open Enrollment Period means with respect to a Plan Year the month preceding the Plan Year, or such other period as may be prescribed by the Plan Administrator.
Open Enrollment Period means the time frame specified by the Plan Administrator.

  • Contractor shall submit to Covered California an Open Enrollment Marketing Plan at least thirty (30) Days prior to the Open Enrollment Period, a Special Enrollment Marketing Plan at least thirty (30) Days prior to the Special Enrollment Period, and a Retention and Renewal Marketing Plan at least thirty (30) Days before the Calendar Year begins.

More Definitions of Open Enrollment Period

Open Enrollment Period means the period designated by the Administrative Committee for electing deferrals for the following Plan Year.

The Open Enrollment Period shall begin on the date selected by the Committee and end no later than (i) with respect to Basic Deferrals for any Plan Year, the first day of such Plan Year; (ii) with respect to Bonus Deferrals, the first day of the period for which the Bonus may be earned; (iii) with respect to Performance-Based Compensation Deferrals, the date that is six months before the end of the applicable performance period, provided the Participant performs services continuously from the later of the beginning of the performance period or the date the performance criteria are established through the date the Deferral Election is made and, provided, further that in no event may a Performance-Based Compensation Deferral Election be made after such Performance Based Compensation has become readily ascertainable within the meaning of Section 1.409A-2(a)(8) of the Treasury Regulations; and (iv) with respect to an Eligible Employee or Non-Employee Director who first becomes eligible to participate in the Plan, the date that is no later than thirty (30) days after first becoming an Eligible Employee or Non-Employee Director, with respect to compensation paid for services performed after the Election and, provided further, that where a Performance-Based Compensation Deferral Election is made in the first year of eligibility but after the beginning of the applicable performance period, the Election must apply only to the compensation paid for services performed after the Election.
Open Enrollment Period with respect to a Plan Year means any period before the beginning of the Plan Year that may be prescribed by the Administrator as the period of time in which Employees who will be Eligible Employees at the beginning of the Plan Year may elect benefits.
Open Enrollment Period means an annual thirty-one (31) day period of time during which Eligible Employees and their Eligible Family Members may enroll under this Plan without giving SHL evidence of good health.
