Associated Company definition

Associated Company means any legal entity of which a person or company has direct or indirect Control and only as long as a person or company maintains direct or indirect Control.
Associated Company means any Group Company or Related Company;
Associated Company in relation to any company, means any company which is a Subsidiary or Holding Company of that company or the majority of whose shares are beneficially owned by the same person or persons as own the majority of the shares of that company;

More Definitions of Associated Company

Associated Company means any company which is from time to time a subsidiary or a holding company (as those expressions are defined by Section 86 of the Companies Act 1981) of the Company.
Associated Company means any “subsidiary” or “holding company” of a party to the Agreement and any “subsidiary” of any such “holding company”, with the terms “subsidiary” and “holding company” having the meanings given to them under the Companies Ordinance (CAP 622).
Associated Company means any corporation which in relation to the person concerned (being a corporation) is a holding company or a subsidiary of any such holding company of a corporation (or a subsidiary of a corporation) at least one-fifth of the issued equity share capital of which is beneficially owned by the person concerned or an associate thereof under the preceding part of this definition. Where the person concerned is an individual or firm or other unincorporated body the expression “Associate” shall mean and include any corporation directly or indirectly controlled by such person.
Associated Company means a subsidiary (as defined by the Companies Xxx 0000 as amended) and any other company which is for the time being a holding company (as defined by the Companies Xxx 0000 as amended) of the Company or another subsidiary of such holding company.
Associated Company means any company 20 per cent or more of the equity share capital of which is owned directly or indirectly by the Company (applying the provisions of section 838 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 in the determination of ownership), or any other Group Company or any company to which the Company (or any other Group Company) renders managerial, administrative or technical services;
Associated Company means any company (i) which is the company’s holding company or (ii) in which the company or its holding company or any of the predecessors of the company or of such holding company has any interest whether direct or indirect or (iii) which is in any way allied to or associated with the company or its holding company or any of the predecessors of the company or of such holding company, of (iv) which is a subsidiary undertaking or any other associated company;
Associated Company means in relation to any company, that company’s parent subsidiaries and fellow subsidiaries, and their associated companies, and companies of which such companies are associated companies. For these purposes, ownership or control of 20 per cent or more of the equity share capital of a company is regarded as the test of associated company status;
