Supervisory Responsibility. (a) The Union recognizes the University's right under Article 14 of the New York State Civil Service Law and Article 125 of the New York State Education Law to establish and/or revise standards for supervisory responsibility, in achieving and maintaining performance levels of supervised employees, for employees in supervisory positions listed in Article I, Section 1 of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the above, questions concerning the practical impact that decisions on the above matters have on employees shall be within the scope of collective bargaining. The Employer will give the Union prior notice of the establishment and/or revision of standards for supervisory responsibility hereunder.

Supervisory Responsibility. (a) The Union recognizes the Center’s right to establish and/or revise standards for supervisory responsibility in achieving and maintaining performance levels of supervised employees, for employees in supervisory positions listed in Article I, Section 1 of this Agreement. Supervisory Responsibility. Supervisors will strive to maintain a harassment-free college environment by promoting professionalism and by dealing with harassment promptly. Supervisors will address any observed or reported incident or complaint of harassment with seriousness and will take prompt action while observing strict confidentiality, whether or not a formal written complaint has been filed. Employees must also ensure that no retaliation will result against the person making a harassment complaint. Supervisors should consult the Director of Human Resources regarding any harassment complaint reported to them.
Supervisory Responsibility. All Complaints against a Police Officer or Sergeant will be under the direction of the Chief of Police or Designee who will assign a supervisor to conduct and/or assist in the investigation. If the investigating supervisor is involved in the incident complained of, then the Chief shall assign a supervisor of a rank higher than the Member under investigation to conduct the investigation. Once the investigation is concluded, an investigation report shall be submitted, with recommendations for disposition, to the Chief through the chain of the command of the Member under investigation. The Chief of Police or Designee retains the right to have an internal investigation conducted by an independent party outside of the department. If the Chief of Police or Designee decides to utilize an outside investigator, he/she will provide written notice to the Lodge regarding selection of the outside investigator and the investigator’s information.

Supervisory Responsibility. This position manages the senior executive team and is responsible for the performance management and input regarding hiring of senior-level management.
Supervisory Responsibility. In addition to prudent classroom and hallway supervision, bargaining unit members will be assigned 1/2 period daily of direct student supervision. This supervisory assignment will be used to provide direct supervision of the District’s Advisory Period System. Daily supervisory assignments that substitute for advisory period supervisory assignments will be made by the employer only with the consent of the unit member. Unit members may voluntarily work with the assigned administrator to provide direct supervision that is the equivalent of 1/2 period daily, but may be configured differently on an annual basis. Any such arrangement must be mutually agreed to by all affected bargaining unit members, and the designated administrator. The employer will consult with an Association building representative regarding supervisory assignments during the week preceding the start of a school year. Traveling teachers are exempt from supervisory responsibilities outlined in this paragraph The Association agrees that proper supervision of the student body may require periodic, temporary supervisory duties. Unit members will accept responsibility for temporary supervisory duties, such as School Crisis Plan, school lockdowns, disaster drills or alerts, assemblies, or other situations requiring adult response.
