Rehearsals. Rehearsals or matinee performances shall end at least three (3) hours prior to the commencement of an evening performance, except when the hall is not available at times which would make this possible. The latter situations would involve prior consultation with the Orchestra Committee.
Rehearsals. All rehearsals are closed. This means there should not be anyone in the auditorium that is not working on the show or a member of the cast. This includes Saturday mornings. Do not drop off students who are not members of the cast. Thank you for your help with this. Cell phones will NOT be visible during rehearsals. Rehearsals will vary from Saturday mornings, after school, or evenings. Please plan accordingly. I understand some students are in sports, but this activity is equally as important. You may need to share practice/rehearsal time. It is up to the students involved to make arrangements. All students will receive a CD with the music they are responsible for. They are expected to be rehearsing at home between practices. A new schedule will be put out well in advance of each month so you can make arrangements. Be flexible. We will be in the winter months where storms can be a problem. We will reschedule all rehearsals missed because of weather. If a show needs to be cancelled because of weather we will find the soonest acceptable date to reschedule, if possible. If a cast member is demonstrating inappropriate behaviors that are affecting the show, the director will ask the student to leave the stage and phone home for a ride. Any behavior that keeps the group from progressing will not be tolerated. THE SHOW: The show will be performed Thursday February 2, Friday February 3, and Saturday February 4 at 7:30 PM. The last month of rehearsal is very important. You must be there. If for any reason you are not available for the final month of rehearsal, I need to know about it when you hand in this contract. Your cooperation is expected. You are to treat all staff, cast members, crew, parents, choreographers, and student directors with respect at all times. Together, we have the potential to make this an outstanding show! All cast members will be expected to provide/pay for parts of their own costume. Please follow all costume deadlines and recommendations. Please think carefully before making the decision to be part of the show and once you make that decision follow through. Students who drop out create difficulties with staging and choreography and items purchased for those students to use go to waste. PARENTS! Please consider helping with the show. A production like this takes a huge amount of work to make happen. A few parents cannot do it all. Please sign up for costumes even if you cannot sew. We need people to hem, make thrift store runs to search for...
Rehearsals. The work of rehearsal is looking for meaning and then making it meaningful (Xxxxx Xxxxx) A typical rehearsal period is eight weeks for, initially, three times per week (two weekday evenings and a longer session over a weekend) but this is not set in stone and will depend on an individual production. The frequency of rehearsals will normally rise as production week approaches. Planned time for costume fittings should appear in the final rehearsal schedule. Rehearsal rooms must be booked with the Theatre Manager as early as possible. Allocation protocols and booking procedures are outlined in Annex 12. If the schedule changes the Theatre Manager must be informed; particularly important if a rehearsal is being cancelled as it allows for room to reallocation. The final rehearsal schedule should be agreed with the Stage Manager and distributed to the cast, production team and crew; this could be via a Google Doc so it is kept live/updated. Wherever possible, the cast should know which rehearsals they will/will not need to attend and everyone should be kept updated if there are any changes of dates or timings – common practice currently is to set up a Whats App group. Room allocations may be subject to change, so the Theatre Manager posts current allocations on the whiteboard by the Office; all involved should check final rehearsal location on arrival. Actors are asked to declare known absences on their audition form but unexpected health issues and sudden work or family commitments may intervene. It needs to be borne in mind that most actors are doing a day job so some flexibility may be called for. It is also important for reasons of health and well-being that regular breaks are factored into rehearsals; this can make a significant difference to concentration levels too. As a guide, Equity rules state that there needs to be a 10 minute break for every 80 mins of rehearsal. Rehearsal Notes should be taken and circulated especially those which will affect the work of creatives, technicians, front of house and marketing who will not necessarily be present at rehearsals. This might best be done as a weekly summary. A useful suggested template appears as Annex 13. Though the building will often be open at rehearsal times there will inevitably be some occasions when it will need to be unlocked/locked. Clearly it is important to know what to do and how to do it. The Director, Stage Manager and any other nominated persons should liaise with the Theatre Manager to obta...

Rehearsals. Students are expected to be present and ON TIME for all rehearsals and meetings. If a student expects to be late due to another school activity’s practice or game, he/she is required to communicate to the Director or section leader IN ADVANCE. The student may call or leave a message on the OMHS Choral Department Voicemail at 000-000-0000 and come directly to the choir rehearsal as soon as the other activity is released. In the case of a student going from one sport/activity to rehearsal, packing a dinner or having food delivered to the student to “eat on the go” is preferred. Missing rehearsal to get food and/or eat during rehearsal time is not permitted. No food or drink is permitted at rehearsal (in the choral suite or auditorium) with the exception of water. Water bottles are acceptable and encouraged at all rehearsals.
Rehearsals. A one-hour rehearsal is granted with each reservation. This is an opportunity for the wedding party to work out the logistics for the event. Scheduled rehearsals are not staffed. Rehearsals are scheduled, based on availability, Monday through Thursday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Rehearsals. 1. There shall be no capture at rehearsals for use on recordings made under this section, except that if there is to be only one performance of the concert, opera or ballet performance being recorded, then there may be capture at the last dress rehearsal before the captured performance. If there are to be multiple performances at different halls, but no more than one performance xxx xxxx, then there may be capture for use on recordings either at all performances, or at one performance and the last dress rehearsal for that performance.
