Private Schools. The career dual enrollment program for a private school student consists of the enrollment of an eligible private school student in a postsecondary course creditable toward an associate degree, a career certificate, or a baccalaureate degree. In addition, a private school in which a student, including, but not limited to, students with disabilities, is enrolled must award credit toward high school completion for the postsecondary course under the career dual enrollment program. To participate in the career dual, enrollment program, an eligible private school student must provide proof of enrollment in a private school pursuant to subsection. Be responsible for his or her own instructional materials and transportation unless provided for in the articulatio n agreement. Sign a private school articulation agreement. Each postsecondary institution eligible to participate in the career dual enrollment program must enter into a private school articulation agreement with each eligible private school in its geographic service area seeking to of fer career dual enrollment courses to its students, including, but not limited to, students with disabilities. Private Schools. The City shall not oppose private schools, charter schools, and other alternate educational systems which Owner may desire to have located within the Property. Any enhanced services shall be at the sole cost of the Owner and/or Developer.
Private Schools. The State monitors the provision of special education and related services for students who are parentally-placed in private schools, through its data reporting, grant assurance process, and program monitoring reviews. Each LEA must provide an annual assurance that it will adhere to New Hampshire Part B 2009 Verification Visit Letter- Enclosure requirements of Part B of the IDEA regarding parentally-placed private school children with disabilities in 34 CFR §§300.130 through 300.144. The SEA requires all LEAs to complete and submit an "Affirmation of Consultation" for each private school in the district prior to the final approval of the LEA's annual request for IDEA funds. OSEP verified this document is consistent with the Written Affirmation requirements in 34 CFR §300.l35 of the IDEA. OSEP further reviewed documentation that clarifies that the LEA calculation for proportionate share of the LEA's Part B entitlement is based on the number of private school children with disabilities who are enrolled by their parents in private schools located in the district and the total number of children with disabilities in its jurisdiction aged 3 through 21. The SEA also requires LEAs to file an annual Child Find report for parentally-placed private school children. The Superintendent or authorized individual signs an assurance that the information submitted is accurate and complete. NIMAS The State has adopted the National Instructional Accessibility Standard (NIMAS) pursuant to Section 612(a)(23)(A). The State requires that each LEA sign a NIMAS Assurance as part of the Annual Request for Special Education Funds. By signing the assurance, each LEA commits to implementing NIMAS. Because textbook purchases are made at the local level, NHDOE provides information and resources to assist in providing accessible materials to children with print disabilities. NHDOE has registered three authorized users: Bookshare, Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic; and New Hampshire Instructional Materials Center Accessible Media Coordinator. The LEA must inform the State whether they choose to coordinate with the National Instructional Materials Center (NIMAC) or will provide instructional materials to blind persons with print disabilities.

  • MIDDLE SCHOOLS 1. Where there are no negotiated provisions concerning the implementation or operation of a middle school program, this article shall govern the implementation or operation of a middle school program in a school district.

  • Secondary Schools a. Department Chairs (Department Heads) are primarily curricular. The job descriptions include but are not limited to the duties listed.

  • Playground ~ The playground is primarily for the use of children under the age of twelve (12). Any child caught throwing rocks, vandalizing, or hitting or teasing other children will be asked to leave the playground. An adult or appropriate baby-sitter must accompany all children under the age of six (6) years old. Garbage ~ The storage, collection and disposal of refuse and garbage in the recreational camping areas shall be conducted as to create no health hazards, rodent harborage, insect breeding areas, accident or fire hazards, or air pollution. Bag all food garbage in plastic and tie shut before placing in the dumpster, to prevent odor and rodents which are drawn to the garbage area, such as skunks, raccoons etc. Dumpster is for normal daily household garbage, no large boxes, building supplies, carpets etc. Camper is to dispose of this type of garbage elsewhere. Garbage may be placed in dumpsters only. If a dumpster is full, do not place garbage on or around the dumpster, find an empty dumpster to place your garbage into. Bags of garbage may not be set outside your camper for any reason. Disposal or deposit of hazardous or toxic waste is prohibited. No gas, oil, batteries, or car fluids may be deposited into the dumpsters or around the dumpsters. Hazardous materials will not be disposed of by the garbage service. Disposal or deposit of furniture, barbeque grills, washer, dryers, and other large household items are NOT permitted on, in or around the dumpsters. Holding Tanks ~ There is no size restriction on holding tanks, however, they must be opaque XX xxxx/black water approved tanks. The on-site dump station may be used to empty tanks that hold 50 gallons or less. For tanks over 50 gallons Camper must contract with a pumping service to pump and remove tank contents from campground. No dumping of xxxx water onto the ground. Docks ~ Campground does NOT have a lifeguard on duty. The docks are privately owned. In order to be on someone's dock you must receive permission from the dock owner. An adult must accompany all children on the docks after dark. Life jackets are required for young children fishing off docks. Running, diving, and/or horseplay are not allowed on the docks. All debris and toys must be removed from the docks, beach and marina area. Inappropriate behavior, intoxication or shouting on docks is not allowed. Glass is not allowed on the beach area. Jet skies, wave runners, etc. are not permitted in the marina area. Tires cannot be left in the marina area under boats or tied onto docks. Fish House ~ Clean up fish cleaning facility when done with your fish cleaning and bag all fish remains. Fish cleaning house must be kept clean and all fish waste must be put into plastic bags and deposited into dumpster and cover on dumpster closed. No dumping of fish wastes into marina or dog waste stations! Swimming Pool ~ Campers are required to abide by all rules posted in and around the pool area.

  • Academy 1.10 Where any legislation, legal requirement or published guidance is referred to, unless otherwise stated, the following terms should be interpreted as follows:

  • Accreditation of Online Schools The District will implement a system of accrediting its online schools, as defined in section 22-30.7- 102(9.5), C.R.S. This system shall adhere to section 00-00-000, C.R.S., including a review of the online school’s alignment to the quality standards outlined in section 22-30.7-105(3)(b), C.R.S., and compliance with statutory or regulatory requirements, in accordance with section 22-30.7-103(3)(m), C.R.S.

  • SCHOOLING The Parents agree to work together to ensure that the Child(ren) receive a quality education and shall cooperating in making decisions regarding the Child(ren)’s education. The Parents shall share information about the Child(ren)’s academic progress and shall make reasonable efforts to ensure that the Child(ren) complete assigned homework and projects.

  • High Schools Wherever possible, no more than eighty students shall be tested at any one time.

  • Advertising and Marketing Except in so far as herein expressly provided, the Service Provider shall not make or issue any formal or informal announcement (with the exception of Stock Exchange announcements), advertisement or statement to the media in connection with this Agreement or otherwise disclose the existence of this Agreement or the subject matter thereof to any other person without the prior written consent of SARS.

  • Catering Cafeteria style of serving meals will be acceptable, providing dishes are carried back by the Culinary Staff. The food shall be of good quality and have the approval of the Camp Committee of the Building and Construction Trades Council of Ontario. There shall be sufficient housekeeping staff supplied by the Culinary Workers to keep the bunkhouses clean, and beds shall be made up each day by such staff. Kitchen facilities, equipment and food supplies shall be subject to inspection by the duly authorized Camp Committee at any and all times and further all grievances shall be dealt with by said Committee.
