Notice and Cause. An adjunct who has obtained the service level in Paragraph 1 and who has commenced performing a teaching assignment may be suspended without pay or removed from that teaching assignment only for cause. The adjunct must be given notice in writing, except as otherwise specifically provided herein, of the conduct for which the suspension or removal action is being taken. An adjunct receiving a notice of proposed suspension or removal for disciplinary reasons will be afforded an opportunity to meet with the president of the college in which the conduct occurred or his/her designee to respond to the proposed action prior to the effective date of the action. The adjunct may be accompanied by a union representative.

  • Good Reason The Executive's employment may be terminated by the Executive for Good Reason. For purposes of this Agreement, "Good Reason" shall mean:

  • For Cause For a material breach that remains uncured for more than thirty calendar days or other specified period after written notice to the Contractor, the Contract or Purchase Order may be terminated by the Commissioner or Authorized User respectively, at the Contractor’s expense where Contractor becomes unable or incapable of performing, or meeting any requirements or qualifications set forth in the Contract, or for non-performance, or upon a determination that Contractor is non-responsible. Such termination shall be upon written notice to the Contractor. In such event, the Commissioner or Authorized User may complete the contractual requirements in any manner it may deem advisable and pursue available legal or equitable remedies for breach.

  • Termination for Cause If Vendor fails to materially perform pursuant to the terms of this Agreement, TIPS shall provide written notice to Vendor specifying the default. If Vendor does not cure such default within thirty (30) days, TIPS may terminate this Agreement, in whole or in part, for cause.
