This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy indoor environment with work inside about 85% of the time and work outside about 15% of the work schedule. The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling and significant fine finger dexterity. Working Conditions. The client is liable for damages and the artists reserve the right to discontinue services if faced with a situation that poses a threat to them, their supplies and/or property and the client fails to properly remedy this situation to the artists’ satisfaction. Working Conditions. The school day will be from 7:40 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Teachers in all schools may be required to participate in a rotating duty schedule amongst certified staff. Service Description: Corridor Monitoring Introduction The purpose of this position is to monitor the Appalachian Trail corridor for existing and potential encroachments and to maintain the exterior corridor boundary survey lines and monuments. Monitors serve as a consistent, watchful presence in the eyes of both adjacent landowners and the general public. Based on the preferences of the Trail club, this position may be referred to as a corridor monitor, boundary monitor/maintainer, corridor xxxxxxx, or other designation. There also may be a position of corridor monitor coordinator, overseer of lands, lands supervisor, or other designation depending on the Trail club with which they are affiliated. The responsibility of that position is to lead the efforts of the monitoring program at a club level to identify and mitigate actual and potential encroachments.
