U.S. Securities definition

U.S. Securities means Securities issued by an issuer that is organized under the laws of the United States or any State thereof or that are otherwise traded in the United States, and shall include American Depositary Receipts.
U.S. Securities means securities of the United States and securities of Federal agencies and Government cor- porations for which Treasury acts as the transfer agent.
U.S. Securities means the U.S. Underwritten Securities and the U.S. Option Securities.

U.S. Securities means securities which are cleared and principally settled in the United States; and (ii) “Foreign Securities” shall mean securities which are cleared and principally settled outside of the United States.

If you do not return the signed and completed US tax form before the date we specify (usually 30 days), we reserve the right to sell your US securities or shares. You have ongoing statutory obligations to inform us if your tax status changes.
