Temporary Relief definition

Temporary Relief whenever used in this Agreement means an employee hired between March 15th and November 15th for the purpose of providing replacement during the vacation period. Temporary relief employees will be terminated by November 16th of each year. By October 15th of each year, the outstanding vacancies will be posted and the transferring of employees to vacant positions will be completed by November 16th consistent with Article 20 - Transferring of Employees from One Job to Another, 20.04 paragraph 2.
Temporary Relief has the meaning set forth in Section 9.5(b).
Temporary Relief means the suspension of the annual sewer service charge due to damage or destruction of the structure(s) on the customer’s land such that property improvements are uninhabitable or unusable so as to not contribute flow to the publicly owned treatment works.

  • A Temporary Relief employee individually covered under O.E.H.T. (Ontario Employer Health Tax) will qualify for a modified Major Medical Plan to provide a benefit as stated above to be applicable only during the terms of "Temporary Relief" employment and coverage terminating on November 30th.

  • Travel pay for Temporary Relief Engineers assigned to Southwest System vessels shall be limited to actual time spent travelling by the most expeditious route, or eight hours per trip, whichever is less.

  • Temporary Relief in a Position Employees who are assigned to act temporarily in a non-supervisory position will be paid at above their individual wage rate but in no case will their temporary pay rate exceed above the terminal rate of their band.

  • Temporary means employment of an intermittent nature; for a limited, specified period; and undertaken during unpaid Maternity Leave or extended unpaid Maternity Leave.

A Temporary Position may be either a new position for the designated period or a temporary vacancy of a Regular Position or of a previously vacated Temporary Position.

  • Temporary worker means a person who is furnished to you to substitute for a permanent "employee" on leave or to meet seasonal or short-term workload conditions.

  • Temporary Global Note means a global note in the form or substantially in the form set out in Part 1 of Schedule 6 together with the copy of the applicable Final Terms attached to it with such modifications (if any) as may be agreed between the Issuer, the Agent and the relevant Dealer, comprising some or all of the Notes of the same Series issued by the Issuer under the Programme Agreement or any other agreement between the Issuer and the relevant Dealer; Tranche means Notes which are identical in all respects (including as to listing); and

  • Temporary Works means all temporary works of every kind required in or about the execution, completion or maintenance of works.

  • temporary licence means a Licence granted under the Act valid for a single day or for such period as may be specified in the Licence not exceeding six months.

  • Temporary Teacher means a person employed to teach under the authority of a letter of permission.

  • Temporary suspension means the removal of a student from school for a specified period of 10 school days or less after a rudimentary hearing.

  • Temporary domicile means the principal place of abode within Utah of a person who does not have a present intention to continue residency within Utah permanently or indefinitely.
