Stand Alone System Upgrade Facilities definition

Stand Alone System Upgrade Facilities means System Upgrade Facilities that a Developer may construct without affecting day-to-day operations of the New York State Transmission System during their construction. NYISO, the Connecting Transmission Owner and the Developer must agree as to what constitutes Stand Alone System Upgrade Facilities and identify them in Appendix A to this Agreement.
Stand Alone System Upgrade Facilities means System Upgrade Facilities that are not part of an Affected System that a Developer may construct without affecting day-to-day operations of the New York State Transmission System during their construction. NYISO, the Connecting Transmission Owner and the Developer must agree as to what constitutes Stand Alone System Upgrade Facilities and identify them in Appendix A to this Agreement. If NYISO, the Connecting Transmission Owner and the Developer disagree about whether a particular System Upgrade Facility is a Stand Alone System Upgrade Facility, NYISO and the Connecting Transmission Owner must provide the Developer a written technical explanation outlining why NYISO and the Connecting Transmission Owner does not consider the System Upgrade Facility to be a Stand Alone System Upgrade Facility within fifteen (15) days of its determination. Standard Large Facility Interconnection Procedures (“Large Facility Interconnection Procedures” or “LFIP”) shall mean the interconnection procedures applicable to an Interconnection Request pertaining to a Large Generating Facility that are included in Attachment X of the ISO OATT. Standard Large Generator Interconnection Agreement (“LGIA”) shall mean this Agreement, which is the form of interconnection agreement applicable to an Interconnection Request pertaining to a Large Generating Facility, that is included in Appendix 4 to Attachment X of the ISO OATT. System Deliverability Upgrades shall mean the least costly configuration of commercially available components of electrical equipment that can be used, consistent with Good Utility Practice and Applicable Reliability Requirements, to make the modifications or additions to Byways and Highways and Other Interfaces on the existing New York State Transmission System and Distribution System that are required for the proposed project to connect reliably to the system in a manner that meets the NYISO Deliverability Interconnection Standard at the requested level of Capacity Resource Interconnection Service.

Y-66 shall mean the redesignated portion of existing Transmission Line connecting a transmission line near the Xxxxxx Substation to the Ladentown Substation. . Xxxxxx Y-88 shall mean the existing Transmission Line which runs between the 345kV Xxxxxxxx South Substation to the 345kV Ladentown Substation. Once Y-88 is interconnected to a transmission line near the Xxxxxx Substation, Y-88 shall mean the portion of kY88 connecting a transmission line near the Xxxxxx Substation to the Xxxxxxxx South Substation.

Related to Stand Alone System Upgrade Facilities

  • Generating Facility means the Generating Unit(s) comprising Seller’s power plant, as more particularly described in Section 1.02 and Exhibit B, including all other materials, equipment, systems, structures, features and improvements necessary to produce electric energy and thermal energy, excluding the Site, land rights and interests in land.

  • Communications Equipment means the communications equipment of the Licensee and its affiliates, including, without limitation, cabinets, racks, electronic equipment and other similar equipment.
